I feel honored to have had an opportunity to make this painting of the Legendary Personality – A great Spiritual teacher – Mahant swami.
Also, this is one of the very important paintings that I have done as I have discovered/developed a technique for which I have been trying for quite a while. I strongly believe that this technique of showing volume through paint strokes (thanks to my life drawing teacher – Brian Hladin) will help my painting process a lot in the future projects.
I will be glad to hear any inputs from you guys.
I can’t begin to tell you how honored I feel for having an opportunity to make this painting of the legendary personality – A spiritual teacher – ‘Mahant Swami’.

After about a year of zero work related updates on my blog, Here it is, my student film produced at Sheridan College.
Let it go is a story about a little girl who is fascinated by the beauty of fireflies, follows them into nearby woods and finds a jar. What happens next depends on if she decides to keep the jar of fireflies for herself or let them go.

Thanks to my Family for the incredible support! I could have done absolutely nothing without them. And of course my faculty here at school. They constantly amaze me!!!!
Thanks to all my friends. You guys are inspiring! The levels of dedication each of you have is crazy!!
I should also thank Vasista Ram, my composer. His music took the film to a whole new level. I can not thank you enough.
And finally thanks to every single person who helped my make this film.

Although I could have done a better job with the animation part, I am pretty happy with the result. While working on this film I faced many situations where I felt like I bit off more than what I can chew! Each individual has to go through every single step in making an Animated film, from writing the Script to the final Comp. As the complexity increases, the number of hour we put into making it increases and I remember when some of us had to stay at school for days. But, I was able to pull it off.
If I get a chance to go back an develop something, it would be the character animation, as I can see many errors already, followed by the firefly dynamics.
I am always open for reviews and inputs. Please let me know what you think of the film.
I hope the story is conveyed well and you like it.
I’m moving to vimeo. From here on, I’ll be uploading my reels or any other videos on Vimeo.
